Prakash
Prakash began his journey in Music by creating and developing instruments in Sanjeevinagar. He attended Kalivani Musical Schools and trained under Muralitharan, a master in the art of music. Later, realizing that he had a natural skill for hearing music and sound, he joined Svaram in Auroville to learn the craft of making musical instruments. His dedication and commitment to music led him to begin Sargam Musicals, which has as one of its goals to teach village youth the craft of making different Musical instruments as a source of livelihood.
Anandabaskaran started his journey in Auroville as a youth artisan from Sanjeevinagar village in Auroville Bio-region. Seeking to better his life by benefiting from the opportunities offered by Auroville. His hard work and mentorship by senior Aurovillians allowed him to grow his skills as an artisan, craftsman and instrumental musician (Djembe). While working in Auroville at Mohanam village heritage centre over 16 years, Anand saw the support and resources given to entrepreneurship by Auroville, which in-stilled the dream of setting up his own unit.

Rajesh
Rajesh began his journey in Auroville as a musical instrument’s maker (percussion instruments). While developing his skill as a craftsmen and musician. He improved his knowledge into digital skill, coordination, logistics, planning and project management. Rajesh has worked in multiple Auroville units, such as Svaram, Pitanga, Saracon campus, and Integrated Transport Service, Rajesh is also part of Auroville Marathon planning and execution team. Has been involved in fundraising for village level socio-economic resolutions.
